La Maestría en Administración de Empresas (MBA) es un programa de 12 cursos (36 créditos) que está diseñado para proporcionar a los estudiantes una sólida base de estudios académicos lograda en un período de tiempo acelerado.  La intención del programa MBA es satisfacer las necesidades de los directivos de nivel medio y superior que desean mejorar sus habilidades profesionales a través de una alta calidad, asequible, en línea, con un enfoque específico en el pensamiento estratégico y la gerencia. Instrucción

El MBA en español es un programa totalmente en línea. Con la  excepción del curso Capstone, impartido en formato de seminario,  todos los cursos del MBA tienen una duración de cinco semanas, y  hay ocho sesiones cada año. El curso Capstone tiene una duración
de seis semanas. El MBA puede completarse en aproximadamente  18 meses. El programa está diseñado para que los estudiantes realicen un curso por sesión de cinco semanas, lo que equivale a tres cursos en un semestre tradicional de 15 semanas.

Career Preparation

The Early Childhood Teacher program is for students who plan to teach or support students in public or private schools. Students graduate with the necessary skills and knowledge that will assist them in pursuing a career as an early childhood teacher for grades PreK-2. A master’s degree may lead to salary advancement in schools and centers using credit and degree-based pay scales.

Program Overview

Psychological Studies is a non-licensure graduate program that introduces students to a broad range of psychological perspectives, with a strong commitment to an evolving multicultural society.  Primarily elective driven program thus allowing students to tailor the program to best meet their career goals and interests. The program has a strong selection of courses in both the trauma studies and addiction areas.

What You'll Learn

Students are exposed to the principles of counseling. They learn about assessment, resources, cultural and racial dynamics, roles on interdisciplinary teams, ethics and relevant laws. They learn about small group dynamics and processes and how leadership styles influence group process. Students have flexibility to choose courses to support their particular interests in the field.

Career Preparation

Graduates may be eligible for advancement in human service careers that do not require licensure (primarily state agency workers who need a master’s to move into supervisory roles – Department of Mental Health, Department of Public Health, Department of Children and Family Services, Department of Youth Services, Department of Developmental Services). They will NOT be eligible to return to study towards mental health licensure at the CAGS level. Additionally Educators and education administration looking to support their students with more knowledge of substance use/trauma and career development. Doctoral level degree seeking students have had higher rates of admission when applying with a master's degree in a similar field of study. In addition, people working in life coaching/mentor roles can build their credentials with the skills learned in this program.

This non-licensure program combines nursing curriculum with education and counseling courses to bridge the healthcare and education environments.  With a flexible online format, students may access the interactive courses at any time.

• • Each course is 5 weeks, but students have the option of taking some semester-long courses if desired.
  •  Program may be completed in less than a year and half, alongside working full-time (with no clinical practicum or prerequisites required).

More than 22 graduates have been honored as School Nurse of the Year.
 

Program Overview

This non-licensure program focuses on evidence-based practices, licensure pathways, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in inclusive education and preparing more educators to support the diverse needs of students with disabilities.  Provides graduates with skills and knowledge to work in special education and inclusion settings focusing on key principles including assessment, designing and modifying curriculum, integration of new technologies,
collaboration and consultation techniques, and understanding of special education law and the IEP process.
