At Trine University, the discounted cost per credit hour is $250* for undergraduate programs, which is discounted from their original cost of $299 per credit hour. For graduate programs, the cost is $460 per credit hour, which is discounted 20% for Union College Benefit students.

If you have completed work at another college or university, Trine makes it easy to transfer your credits from other institutions. You may be eligible to transfer a maximum of:
- 45 credits toward a 60-credit-hour associate's degree
- 90 credits toward most 120-credit-hour bachelor's degree
- 6 credits towards a 30-credit-hour master’s degree

After you submit your application, you will need to submit official transcripts to Trine University.
Trine University will assist in ordering college and high school transcripts* on your behalf and cover the fees associated with it if your previous school(s) allow for a third-party request (Parchment or National Clearinghouse). Just complete the consent form so TrineOnline can order transcripts on your behalf.

What's an official transcript?
Transcripts are considered "OFFICIAL" when they are sent directly from the previous institution where the credit was earned and remain unopened.
What should I do if I cannot request a transcript from a previously attended school?
Trine University needs all official transcripts for a student to be enrolled. If you have a hold on your student account at a previously attended school that impedes your ability to request an official transcript, you must work with the school to clear the hold
